From Pallipuram’s ancient soil,
Rama Sastrigal’s wisdom toiled,
A puranic scholar and upanyasaka, his heart aglow,
With stories and truths from long ago.
His son, Venkiteswara PRV Iyer, bold,
Left home for Bombay, to strive, to hold,
The weight of a family, large and dear,
In toil and sweat, he conquered fear.
Venkiteswara’s path, though his own to chart,
Was also blessed by a generous heart.
He married into Sekharipuram’s grace,
A family whose warmth and love embraced.
Together they built, hand in hand,
A home of strength, a future planned
Through hardship and effort, PRV rose above,
A life of hard work, a labour of love.
He sought the best of education for his kids
A future of promise, where ambition never slid.
Venkataraman, with dreams in flight,
To IIT Kharagpur, he took his might,
Through circuits and codes, a world to steer,
A top-ranked airforce officer, his path was clear
His sister, Dr Lakshmi, with grace and care,
Studied medicine, beyond compare,
An MBBS, MD pharmacology, and a heart so wide,
A professor, with knowledge, she’d guide.
Altruistic in nature, her spirit soared,
In service to others, she always poured
Her wisdom, her time, her love so true,
A beacon of hope for all who knew
Thus the legacy of persistence and might,
Passed down through generations, bright,
From Rama Sastrigal’s ancient lore,
To his scions who opened wisdom’s door.
